With Off-Field Woes, Favre Troubles Not Just Passing

Green Bay, WI, United States (AHN) – Brett Favre has had a rough week both on and off the field.

Favre reportedly admitted reportedly admitted leaving voicemails for a former New York Jets employee and then had a rough night against the Green Bay Packets, throwing three interceptions.

Fox television’s Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Favre told league investigators earlier this week he left phone messages for Jenn Sterger, who worked for the Jets in 2008 when Favre was their quarterback.

The Fox report did not credit the information to anyone specifically while the NFL said it is not commenting on details of the investigation.

Favre also denied sending Sterger lewd photos according to the fox report.

The Favre saga stems from a story on Deadspin.com earlier this month that Favre sent the photos to Sterger two years ago. Currently working for Versus, Sterger has not cooperated with the league in its investigation.

Things did not get better for Favre on Sunday night as he threw three interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown, in Minnesota’s 28-24 loss at Green Bay.

Favre also injured his surgically repaired ankle and may miss Minnesota’s next game at New England.
