Tech stocks start week with broad gains

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Tech stocks rose across the board Monday, with gains from sector leaders such as Apple Inc. , Cisco Systems Inc. , Oracle Corp. and Hewlett-Packard co. . Texas Instruments Inc. shares rose 38 cents to $29.05 ahead of the company’s fiscal third-quarter report, due after the market close. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 23 points 2,502.
