Romeo home builder gets 6-month term, $1.6M ordered in fraud

A Romeo home builder was sentenced Tuesday to six months in prison and ordered to pay $1.6 million in restitution to several financial institutions for his role in a mortgage fraud scheme that led to the approval of more than $4.1 million in bogus loans.
