Not a time for rash decisions
“I’m as mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!” Remember the movie “Network?” We’ve got lots of angry people hollering right now – angry with politicians everywhere. I’ve got my list of gripes: unemployment, home foreclosures, two wars and pension money lost in the stock market. It feels good sometimes to let ‘er rip, make some noise and stomp our feet, but anger is a powerful emotion that drowns out reason, and that’s never a good thing. As citizens in a democracy, we’re honor-bound to pay attention and make wise choices in who will lead us. When we vote for someone, we’re hiring them to work in our best interests.
