Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Lindsay Lohan may be estranged from her dad, but her dad is still determined to take care of her. Michael Lohan announced that he will be paying Lindsay’s whopping $135,000 legal bill.

Michael, who never missed an opportunity to talk to the media about her troubled daughter, told RadarOnline.com that he is footing Lindsay’s massive legal fee.

He said, “I am committed to pay Lindsay’s $135,000 legal bill with [Lindsay's attorney] Shawn Holley.”

He also gave himself credit for approaching Holley to structure the home arrest deal for his daughter in exchange for a no contest plea to misdemeanor theft, saying he met with a district attorney friend who suggested the move.

And while everything may fall into plan as Lindsay applied for a house arrest sentence, he is still worried upon learning that her probation report stated that she tested positive for alcohol in February, just a few weeks after she was released from Betty Ford Center.

He continued to the website, “The last thing in the world I want is for my daughter to be in jail. At the same time, I am extremely concerned that there are some of the wrong people still in Lindsay’s life and she knows it.”
