Maroon 5, Train announce North American co-headlining tour
Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Pop rockers Maroon 5 and Train are heading out together on a North American tour, promising fans over 20 charted hit songs between the two Grammy award-winning bands.
Maroon 5 and Train’s joint jaunt will kick off July 22nd in Chula Vista, CA at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. They’ll play over 40 dates before wrapping up September 24th in The Woodlands, TX at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Maroon 5 are touring in support of their latest disc, last year’s “Hands All Over,” which includes the hit “Misery.” Train released 2009′s “Save Me San Francisco,” which yielded three top 40 singles, including “If It’s Love,” “Marry Me,” and the multi-platinum-selling hit “Hey, Soul Sister.”
Gavin DeGraw will join the two bands as opening act for the first part of the tour. Matt Nathanson will then come on board as opener beginning August 28th.
