Jobless rates drop
Unemployment rates fell throughout East Central Illinois in March in some cases to levels not seen in nearly two years.
Champaign County’s unemployment rate dropped to 7.6 percent, down from 8.3 percent in February. It was the lowest rate since May 2009, when the rate stood at 7.2 percent.
