Job ads show economic recovery is slowing

October’s ANZ job ads survey is showing slower growth in the number of positions being advertised. The bank’s head of Australian economics, Ivan Colhoun, says further falls in unemployment are likely to be much more gradual, which may allow the Reserve Bank to wait until autumn next year before lifting interest rates again.
