IBA may seek one-time waiver on MFI loan restructuring

The Indian Banks Association will approach the RBI seeking a one-time waiver on restructuring loans given to microfinance institutions. MFIs have asked banks to restructure loans because collections in the state of Andhra Pradesh have dropped to levels of 15-20%.
