Hundreds turn out for Quicken job fair
The nation’s unemployment rate may have dropped to 8.8% — its lowest level in two years — but hundreds of Michiganders are still looking for jobs and flocked to a Quicken Loans job fair Saturday, its first since moving to downtown Detroit last summer. More than 300 people registered at the Compuware building, where Quicken Loans is headquartered, for the fair.
