New York, NY, United States (AHN) – Food Network has unveiled a new app that contains 45,000 recipes. The “In The Kitchen App” allows food enthusiasts access to Food Network recipes, along with essential utility-based kitchen tools, anytime and anywhere using iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

“The In The Kitchen App is the next step in expanding our role as a central resource for expert-tested recipes from America’s favorite chefs,” said Bob Madden, senior vice president and general manager of FoodNetwork.com.

The recipes come with photos and step-by-step, and provides seasonal menus updated monthly.

Other features include a recipe box for storing favorite recipes, shopping lists available in offline mode, built-in timers so they can work without ever leaving the app, and a unit converter to ensure accurate measurements.

The In The Kitchen App is the second app available from the Food Network.
