Fed shutdown could affect thousands here

The specter of a partial government shutdown, which would affect thousands in the St. Louis area, seems likely to hover during much of March while Republicans and Democrats argue over how deeply to cut spending for the rest of this fiscal year, the St. Louis Beacon reports.
