5-Year Sentence for Bank LO Who Modified Loans

A former loan officer at First Security Trust & Savings Bank admitted that he manually modified mortgage loans without his employer’s knowledge. His actions ended up costing the Illinois bank more than $5 million. He was sentenced to 63 months in prison.
